Hard to divide
A building, a collection or a family business cannot be split among three heirs without selling it.
Estate & Legacy
Estates are rarely just cash. They are buildings, collections, businesses and rights, held through trusts and companies and documented in a dozen places. Arrabon gives a family one verified record of everything it owns, and the tools to divide, finance and pass it on without breaking it up.
The problem
A building, a collection or a family business cannot be split among three heirs without selling it.
Taxes and costs fall due in cash, which can force the sale of the very asset the family meant to keep.
Deeds, appraisals, trust documents and provenance sit with different advisors, and are hardest to find when they are needed most.
When values and ownership are unclear, heirs disagree and administration slows down.
How Arrabon helps
Every asset in the estate, documented with the reports of independent experts, such as title searches, appraisals and provenance, each recorded with the expert's credentials. One place for the family and its advisors to see what is there.
See a sample recordAssets are held in a legal structure, such as a trust or holding company, and represented as fractional interests that can be allocated precisely among heirs, so no one has to sell the whole to share it.
Sell a minority share to verified investors, or borrow against an interest through a licensed lending partner, to cover taxes and costs without giving up the asset.
For asset ownersInterests pass from one generation to the next with the record attached. Every transfer is logged, and the record stays current with re-appraisals and custody checks.
How it works
Tell us what the estate holds and what the family wants to achieve. One submission can cover several assets.
Independent experts report on title, condition, authenticity and value, as each asset requires. ACAN verifies that the reports are complete and records them.
The family's attorneys establish or adapt the holding structure, and the interests in it are represented on the platform.
Interests are allocated according to the estate plan, with options to raise liquidity or set aside shares for future transfer.
The record is maintained for as long as the family holds the assets: re-appraisals, custody checks, insurance and every change of ownership.
Arrabon does not decide whether an asset is authentic or what it is worth. Independent experts report, and ACAN records their reports. Arrabon does not give legal, tax or financial advice; the family's own attorneys and advisors set the plan.
What an estate can hold
Most estates combine several of these. Each is documented the way its asset class requires.
Planning structures
Families that have kept wealth together for generations rely on a handful of legal and insurance structures. Many first-generation families never hear about them. Each depends on what Arrabon provides: clean data and documented, verified assets.
An irrevocable trust that keeps assets, and their future growth, outside the grantor's estate, while the grantor continues to pay the income tax on them. Assets usually move into it by gift or by sale.
Where Arrabon helps: Documented values from independent appraisers for each interest transferred, and fractional interests that can be sized to the plan.
A trust that owns life insurance outside the estate, so the payout can cover estate taxes and costs when they fall due, without forcing the sale of the family's assets.
Where Arrabon helps: A current record of what the estate holds and what it is worth, so cover can be sized to what the estate will actually need.
Life insurance for qualified investors in which the policy's cash value is invested in a dedicated account. Growth inside the policy is generally tax-deferred, and the death benefit passes to heirs.
Where Arrabon helps: Clean, verified records of the assets and interests involved, for the insurers, managers and advisors who structure the policy.
These structures carry strict legal and tax rules, and whether one suits a family depends on its circumstances. They are designed and set up by the family's attorneys, tax advisors and licensed insurance professionals, not by Arrabon. Arrabon provides the documented assets and records they rely on. Nothing here is legal, tax or financial advice.
